Dr Yatendra Sharma, the Founder, ‘Shri Ram Katha Sansthan Perth’. Born in 1953 in a traditional Sanatan family in India, Dr Yatendra Sharma founded this non-profit religious organisation in Perth, Western Australia, with the help of his wife Mrs Manju Sharma and some other like-minded friends in 2016. The Sansthan is continually publishing booklets on the life stories of the great Sanatan Dharm Saints, Mothers, Sanatan Distinguished personalities to give awareness of Sanatan Dharm and its culture to the followers of Hinduism. From time to time it also organises Shri Ram Katha and other Sanatan Kathas of the great Sanatan saints, mothers and great personalities.
Following his family traditions, he developed interest in reading, listening and narrating religious Scriptures since his childhood. He gained his Sanskrit knowledge in childhood from his grandfather Shri Bhagwan Das Sharma and Shri Saligram Sharma Agnihotri, the great scholar of Sanskrit and retired Principal of Naravar Sanskrit Mahavidyalay. He completed his doctorate in chemical technology from the Technical University of Graz, Austria, and now serving the mining and mineral industries of Western Australia for more than three decades.
